> Electricity consumption in kilowatt hours (kWh) in Europe per inhabitant in 2021. The average in the EU is around 6,000 kWh, and Norway consumes approximately four times more than that. The countries are categorized in a color scale where yellow is the lowest, orange is the middle point, and red is the highest.
Okay but what causes this? Do the use electricity for heating for example instead of (Russian) gas?
Had 1800 kWh last year ppl be using to much electricity!
Those differences are huge.
ive stayed in a few air bnb in norway and it’s mostly electric heating or perhaps wood pellets if not in the city. i would also think all those heated sidewalks and roads consume a lot of energy during the winter..
