VB en PVDA winnen stemmen en zijn beide uitgesproken economisch links, hoe komt een politicus en journalist dan tot het besluit dat de kiezer economisch rechts is?
Edit: voor de slechte verstaanders, we weten allemaal dat VB zich anders verkoopt dan ze in werkelijkheid stemmen…dit is net waar ik naar refereer ih onderzoek
Politicians deciding for others what is in their interests, and thus limiting what people can observe as actually possible.
While if you stop using politicized terminology and instead ask people if they would like highly specific examples, you’ll find most people are socialists.
Except they’ve learned to associate that word with something bad and thus move away from trying to accomplish what is in their best interests.
It goes both ways, voters are also very bad at understanding what various politicians stand for. People who are actively following politics are very bad at correctly estimating how little most people follow it.
So our politicians, populistic in anything but name, even fail at being populistic?
I’m happy to see that plenty of people aren’t all that bad though. Would live it if they also stopped voting for bad parties.

About 10% of people are lefties. That´s way more than I would imagine.
