  1. This is incredibly gimmicky and not a general Greek thing at all. Still, if it’s rakl, I can understand this.

But if it’s ouzo, I’m getting queasy just at the thought of this.

Did it it have an aniseed taste?

  2. Just use ouzo, and put a Greek flag on it. Tourists will buy anything as long as you smile and tell them jokes about your wife’s lover. Oh and give them free watermelon. They love free watermelon

  3. Wtf is this?

It’s some grapes inside a raki glass that is filled with ouzo?
And a Greek flag on it.

I guess this tavern owner is 3 years old

  4. Πέσατε να τον φάτε τον άνθρωπο, με καλά λόγια μας ήρθε. This is not a general Greek thing, usually Ouzo and Tsipouro is served with sides of savory sea food. Still, it does look good, Ouzo is strong and grapes are juicy they could make an interesting combo.

  5. even if its not a traditional drink, if OP likes it what is your problem ppl? and yes, tourist drinks in a tourist place. it makes sense.

  6. The people here are idiots. They probably know nothing about Crete, yet comment like they know their cuisine and dishes. They know nothing about the specific tavern and it’s prices, yet comment about how it’s a tourist trap.

  7. Hey man, I am glad you liked it. I don’t know why everyone is such an uppity bitch in this thread. If you like it, you like it period. Have a good day.
