He must have been working off the RTÉ maps of Ireland.
Looks different to the normal map of Ireland I’m used to
What happened to Connacht and Ulster
Fermanagh bay.
Love a nice holiday on the East Donegal coast.
I’ve dissapeared, who said that?
Looks like Louth has absorbed Warrenpoint, Rostrevor Kilkeel etc. on the other side of Carlingford Lough. YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeoWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!! That is the start of it. The rest of Ulster will be absorbed into a one shared Ireland.
NoT a BorDeR in Sigh…. Oh… wait. There is.
For anyone asking he made another one that includes the north
Don’t mind me, I’m just relaxing here in the lost sunken city of BelfAtlantis
Finding shapefiles for Ireland is (very very) difficult. Even the CSO’s shapefiles leave the six counties out, without even an option for a full island map.
It’s a gorgeous map but I wouldn’t accept it with the large chunk missing.
I wonder how many people, particularly Brits and Americans, look at it and do a double take. It’s like seeing someone with a new haircut. You know something’s changed but you can’t put your finger on what it is……..
This is as weird as those weather maps you would occasionally see on British TV where they would _erase_ the rest of the 26 counties and have just the 6 NI ones as their own little island and have blue sea where most of the island should be. Used to freak me out as a child.
Wouldn’t it just be easier to leave Northern Ireland in there?
Fine you say.
A big chunk missing at the top.
Includes the tiny Islands off Skerries. Love the attention to detail
That is some abortion of a map that leaves out NI.
Sorta makes me want to punch the creator.
I’m just happy Roscommon is on a map
Where’s the rest of it?
Donegal, Monaghan and Cavan are part of Ulster which should be labelled there.
I never noticed that the hills outside Kilkenny look like a velociraptor.
Anyone notice that there’s blue where the coast is, but not the border? That’s right, your jokes about the “coast of Monaghan” or the “”Donegal peninsula” are invalid.

There’s a bit missing. Like, a big bit.
Half hearted effort there…
