I bloody love Peter Capaldi.. I need to properly watching this sometime. I started it years ago, and then got distracted by other things and never went back to it.
All I could think since this “drip drip drip, day after day” Troy Story was this scene, ” I had a fucking lump in my throat”.

We’ve actually started watching Veep recently, same creator and similar setting just in the US government.
It’s not as quick and chaotic as The Thick of It but it’s still fucking brilliant.
If you’ve never seen it, I *highly* recommend Yes Minister as well. Same type of show, just set in the early 1980s, and sadly more or less every quote in it is hilariously and tragically relevant to more or less everything happening today in politics.
