Any kaviar lovers out there?

  1. It’s ok, not my goto exactly, but pretty good combined with eggs.

When it comes to fishy spreads mackerel in tomato sauce is much much more tasty and doesn’t require anything else (they had a limited edition version with a more spicy chili sauce which was fantastic, but unfortunately they didn’t keep it around).

  2. I live in Sweden and they sell kaviar here as well, however Norwegian kaviar is better so I always buy a few tubes when visiting my family in Norway. I love that stuff on eggs.

My favourite usage is boiled egg, kaviar, pinch of pepper and lemon, maybe some dill.

Edit: Norwegian is better as its stronger, Swedish kaviar is often marketed as extra mild while Norwegian is often marketed as extra strong or smoky.

  3. God meieri smør på grov brød, toppa med egg og kaviar på toppen. Det er reklame bildet. Jeg liker kaviaren under egget så egget ikke stikke av.

  4. Proto: you can buy Kalles Kaviar in any IKEA in the world of you’re travelling. Also pickled herring and gifflar.
