The shite they sell in the home section is all priced x 5-10 times what it’s worth
It’s a candle holder. Not bad.. but I wouldn’t pay that much for it!
The clothes in TK max are also over priced cheap crap, google the brands, they don’t exist.
Quite common in Netherlands. Its used to light up a fire. Basically a piece of log cut in 4 or more overpriced af.
Its around 6-7 euro here still overpriced
Nowhere near as ridiculous as the Bee Hotel I saw in Dairygold, going for a bargain at €280. Whats a Bee Hotel you ask? A load of wooden sticks and bamboo thrown together, quick where’s my wallet…
Have seen these in Aldi for 7.99 ish I think! Lol
25 quid…wow
25 notes is ridiculous for something that would literally cost cents to make.
“Everybody loves **Log!** ™”
I don’t think whey know what this log is used for. Probably they are selling it as a fancy candle holder otherwise it would be 4-5 euros max
I get them outa Aldi for 6e , great yokes to throw in the fire pit for a couple of hours
Stupid question how do you light them… do you put a fire lighter down the centre
(seriously thought used these as outdoor candle holders lol)
Christ on a bike – WTF did they say it was reduced from!! Cracked.
These have started popping up for sale in a few places. I saw them for sale in either Lidl or Aldi there a few weeks ago. Can’t remember the price though, but I can’t imagine they were €24.99. €2.49 would be about the right price.
I’ve seen worse in next, a shitty wonky POS hearth mantle for £600. A free outside camp fire/cooker it’s pretty simple it’s called a hole
Buy it you will only regret it
My father made 40 odd of these, over metre tall to supply the festival of the fires. We have 20 or so in our shed and we can match that price
Bargain, it can be used as a chair, for weightlifting, a decoration, setting a trap, door stop, a weapon, carve some art, an ear ring, an insect house, a float, a step to reach something, kids toy, paperweight, rolling dough, tie it to your travel luggage so you recognise it instantly, make lots of toothpicks, target for axe throwing, wheel stop for a jumbo jet or simply burn it if you can’t think of what to do with it, that’s what most people do.
They were in aldi recently for 7.99
Strange, Morphy Richards is normally a good brand
Id only pay 20,99 for that
TK Maxx in general is very overrated in my opinion. I never find any ‘bargains’ they’re known for, the only things they sell that are actually reasonable prices are brands I’ve never heard of, which kind of defeats the point of the shop in the first place

What’s it’s purpose?

[Swedish Fire Log](https://www.freshoffthegrid.com/swedish-fire-log/)
Extremely useless for someone living in Ireland to purchase this for €24.99 from TK Maxx of all places, considering this is likely for decoration.
Well I knew wood had gotten expensive but this is pushing it.
I don’t know what I wood do with it. You’d just end up logging it around the place.
I just went to a dentist who used one of these as a door stopper
Useless!? How else do you store all your letters??
[Someone in TK Maxx must like Ren and Stimpy](https://youtu.be/-fQGPZTECYs?t=25)
lol imagine selling a bit of wood for 25 euro
Its a Swedish torch you can cook on them as well

Petrol cost less

It’s a “Swedish Stove” https://www.freshoffthegrid.com/swedish-fire-log/
Its a camping stove. Way over priced but works great
There are better ways to burn a hole in your wallet for sure
They’re actually quite useful if you’re camping. Although relatively easy to make yourself.
The price is excessive but Swedish fires are amazing
What in the slivering fuck is that meant to be?
Well some needed proof that this was actually selling for 24€. Is there something missing?
*EDIT: I believe mystery SOLVED (maybe). I reckon it’s either of two things:
1) Possibly missing a metal wedge piece from middle, such as a “Wood Splitting -Metal Wedge”,.for splitting wood
As seen here on sale in Hardware shop in Ireland for same price, looks similar ;[https://www.handyhardware.ie/Roughneck-Wood-Grenade-Splitting-Wedge_p_53250.html](https://www.handyhardware.ie/Roughneck-Wood-Grenade-Splitting-Wedge_p_53250.html)
OR else..
2) A Swedish Log Candle /Torch., as seen here on [On Amazon ](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Swedish-Torch-Log-Premium-Wooden/dp/B08FHBK7ZY/ref=asc_df_B08FHBK7ZY/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=463170353881&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=14193756263603259199&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=20478&hvtargid=pla-954003128288&psc=1#) . Seen similar in some camping shops. (Still very over-priced regardless)

You can get a bag of those for 12 euro.
