  1. I’m quite amazed by the audacity to complain and about the tone.

Carrefour [made record profits in 2020](https://www.retaildetail.eu/news/food/carrefour-sees-record-performance-2020/) and [2021](https://www.reuters.com/business/retail-consumer/carrefour-confident-turnaround-after-2021-profit-rise-record-cash-2022-02-16/) and in top 3 all around Europe by income, you could you know be more conservative about your financial projections as we’re in the biggest energy crisis for the past 50+ years.

  2. Won’t someone please think of the corporations? How can they price gouge when consumers are trying to keep their homes heated and children fed?!?!

  3. turns out people really like not starving or freezing to death, who would’ve thought? Maybe the EU could finance a multi million € study to confirm this.

  4. Good, this means they lose customers. They are the most expensive supermarkets in my area, 20% more expensive than other non-discount supermarkets.

  5. There is a documentary om YT – might be by ARTE – that goes into how Cartefour and others all but blackmail their suppliers in order to get the lowest price possible, even if it hardly leaves suppliers money to cover their own costs. If you refuse to go along, you’re basically cut out from the market

  6. Oh no, we can’t beat our last year record profits by the set target ! How can we survive (and receive our multi million bonuses) ?!

Its the damn penny-pinching workers, what do they need money for anyway ?

  7. Conclusion is to save the cooperations while quiet a few of us will miss a meal or two to pay for energy, gasoline and rent 😍
