I bet they’ll be first out to get their towels on the beach.
Efficient
“We were in Lidl a few days after we arrived, and our kids were running around and being loud so we told them to stop because in Germany that would not be allowed,” says Stephanie. “But then we saw another family were also running around and nobody said anything or looked at them. That felt so unusual to us.”
I need to move to Germany…
It’s a great country for those that can afford it.

I love stories like this. Kerry in some places is still quite peaceful and rural. They obviously did a lot of homework before moving, Castlemaine is a nice spot indeed and not too far to the mountains and beaches.
Google Maps doesn’t tell you how bloody freezing the water is.
Nice story but smellable audiobooks?! I’ve heard (and smelled) it all now!
I have to say that I love these weekly stories. We perpetually cut the legs off ourselves and our island. We might have a shite car insurance/ planning system, but we’ve this brilliant social structure that’s incredibly welcoming, particularly in small communities, a far throw for the “black babies of Biafra” agenda that my mother tried to inculcate me into.

Not a bad reason to move.
