Hello /r/unitedkingdom!
/r/mhoc, or the Model House of Commons, is the largest and longest standing simulation of British politics! We are just beginning our 18th General Election, and the new term will be a great time for new members to get started.
In mhoc, you can join one of a wide variety of real life and mhoc-unique political parties. Members can write, propose, and debate legislation put to vote before Parliament, and Governments and Oppositions rise and fall according to the effort and abilities of its constituent parties and members. Beyond that, we have an active press, devolved chambers simulating politics in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, and a very active discord community!
