  6. After reading the carry on he thought was appropriate towards the principal, I’d think a lot of his students will be celebrating his suspension. The guy sounds like he must be insufferable, and I doubt he’s any more tolerable when he feels like he has power over someone.

  24. If a kid wants to be called Jane or John would you not jist go along with it. You don’t have to believe anything (i.e. if you don’t believe it’s possible to change sex or whatever) because it’s just a kid going through something so just leave it alone.

  26. Just a personal note that I ran a school for refugees in Castlebar. I lived there and went to many, many meetings and I have to say that it was very accepting and very well-intentioned towards my totally lost students. There are a few very loud bigots and that will never change but Mayo has nothing to be ashamed of. Every village has idiots.

  27. The only thing glaring at me about this other than a teacher being on some high horse, is this child/teen has had to sit 40+ minutes weekly or daily in this man’s class. Imagine the mental torture that child went through and an injunction comes into play when a principal is yelled at, at an event.
    This child deserves a hell of a lot more than this bullshit!!! Their transition is being used as an argument, I hope they see the positive that they are a beacon of hope for the future of our schools. Head up kiddo!!! You have a country’s support!!

  29. I’m not going to get into the nitty gritty about this particular case, but…

    It’s one thing to ask people to address you a certain way. But when you try to control how they talk about you in the third person, when you might not even be present, then you are really trying to control what they think about you. I don’t think anyone has the right to demand that.

  33. “They” is this for kids with multiple personality disorder that they have to address all the personalities at once 😂😂.

    I do think these infinity genders are a mockery of actual trans people who try to live their lives as a male or female, where people who try to push fictitious pronouns need to feel special compared to their peers and it just calls to the most narcissistic parts of western Society.
