Nah Quality Street they’re leftover from last year….
Pffft as if Protestants shop in Aldi
5.99, jaysus. I hope the staff are wearing balaclavas
You must of been the man I seen Earlier walking out with 5 tins
Tesco had them too. Inflation is real, 2 for 11 euro.
3 for a tenner, 3 for a tenner, I’m not paying more than a tenner and I want 3. This man is not for turning
Who buys these?
Weren’t they 3.99 last year? 😳
Leixlip?
Yay 😁
I worked in tesco a few years ago, and it was 3 for €10.
The amount of people who tried to buy over €60 worth (18+ tubs), as in trolleys full, we had to put a limit of 3 tubs per person. The tantrums at the till were pathetic, over feckin chocolate.
I’m sure they were €4.99 in my local aldi on Sunday
And they’ll all be sold out by late November.
If the fridges were briming with large whole turkeys it would be surprising. But I never really considered these to be solely for christmas, every year they are out at various times, so I wonder how this idea took hold with so many.
Wiki page for heroes says “Heroes are most popular around holidays, such as Christmas, Halloween and Easter.”, smaller packs are out all year round.
People will buy them to give out at halloween. Or maybe for kids lunches. The chocolate is often cheaper than mulitpacks per kilo, even at this relatively high price per tub.
