Does anyone know how to get rid of these? My dog keeps stepping on them in the garden.

  1. I remember stepping the whole plant that produces those while barefooted. Not a very pleasant experience.

  2. These are produced from a weed. Best option is to spray some weed killer before or remove them by hand.

Unfortunately by now they have done their damage so there isn’t an easy solution as far as I know.

  3. These are natural to Cyprus. Even if you spray weed killer, they stay mixed in the soil for decades as they are harder than wood. I guess you could put some natural matting for the area your dog lsys in or buy the dog some shoes (yes these exist). If it is a tiny area then yeah maybe having it sprayed and cleaned manually is a good solution.
