When I lived in Norway through the 1980s, homosexuality did not have a strong social footing (mainly jokes and few if any openly gay people). Has that changed much in the past few decades?
I once had the pleasure of talking with her. She told me the story of how it was back then, and how she and others worked to change things. It was truly fascinating. She was a lovely person.
