Is this really from the Seitsemän koiraveljestä by Mauri Kunnas? I mean there’s one guy clearly passed out in this illustration.
I remember that once he did some adult themed art in his Dog Hill style for Helsingin Sanomat while discussing stories that he felt he couldn’t do in the format. At least he felt that at that time. It was mainly the Unknown Soldier, right?
But it seems that he has actually published the Seven Brothers, so that is probably a real image and not self-pastiche in the vein of the Helsingin Sanomat article. I don’t remember the article clearly so maybe this Seven Brothers thing was even touched in the article… who knows…
