  7. If people want to have serious conversations about keeping women safe you need stronger sentencing for people like this.

    Although genuinely from reading the article you could have brain damage/CTE from falls playing a role. Either way the state has a responsibility to keep him away from the general public.

  10. Throw away the key on this lad. Even put him in a psychiatric ward. Keep him off the streets. He will escalate to murder. Then we will be saying, why wasn’t he locked up.

  11. If anyone needs locking up before shit escalates, it’s this prick. The fact that he pre-arranged to meet 4 women before hand and had a clear motive to harm them….Jesus christ, he CANNOT be let walk out after this, surely?

    And an application for free legal aid?? Give me a break. He could afford to travel to Dublin and buy a fucking claw hammer to assault women no problem but can’t afford a solicitor for a court hearing?

    He suffered a head injury as a trainee jockey, altered his personality. He has acquired psychopathy. He needs to be locked up, possibly for the rest of his life, under a mental health order.

  13. I think the death penalty should come back for certain crimes this being one of them and for those who harm kids physically or sexually to the point the child’s life is severely affected.
