I’m currently working at Spyrou Kyprianou Park and I’ve got to say that recycle comes once a months , and everything they up to is dirty af. I’m done with Cyprus.
I’ve been saying it and I’ll keep saying it: Calling Cypriots or Indians or whatever “dirty” isn’t fair. In my experince people in any country litter more or less the same. The biggest difference is made by the infrastructure built around keeping a place clean. I mean, I’ve never seen one of [these](https://www.sweeperland.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Global-Industrial-M3-Street-Sweeper-Three-Wheel-Action-Sweeping.jpg) in Cyprus before, while in Germany I see them once a week. Instead, in CY, it’s always foreign workers manually sweeping the streets once a month for less than minimum wage, who couldn’t care less if the place is clean or not after they did the bare minimum their superior told them to do.
It feels more like the municipality is putting on a show for us instead of actually cleaning. “Here. See? We ARE keeping the city clean”.

I live in Frenaros and they come at least once a week to pick it up directly from my pavement 😉
