NATO Should Put Troops In Ukraine On Rotational Basis To Deter Russia, Bolton Says

  1. I love his idea on what should be done with Transdniester to hit back at russia. Russia plays dirty games so should the west in return.

  2. I flipping hate this SOB. The entire Iraq war and BS weapon of mass destruction was his fault. He is for sure the biggest warmonger since Kissinger. Whatever he says you should do the damn opposite. Literally boils my blood looking at his Colonel Sanders looking ass. Destroyed US credibility internationally to a large extent and destroyed trust in the US government at home which in part led to the massive political strife we have today

  3. The US already has troops in Ukraine…

The Florida National Guard are in there currently for joint training missions with Ukraine, I think Canada and UK has troops there too.

  4. NATO is a defensive pact, to use it for staging operations in non-NATO areas to defend non-NATO countries is a pretty bad precedent to set imo.

Having said that and noting that he is a known warmonger with Kissinger comparisons being more than earned, is he actually wrong -in this specific situation- that troops should be sent there? I’d prefer French, British or Polish troops over Americans, and not under a NATO banner, but if you don’t draw a line, Russia will just keep on salami slicing everything they can get away with, which not only is unethical but also hurts Western interests.

  5. If not Ukraine then all the border countries and not just the supply corp, but tanks, artillery and good old fashioned infantry. Only deterrent is force showing, sanctions won’t work, neither will asking them nicely.

  6. the deployment of missiles in Ukraine is a war, the Caribbean crisis has taught nothing to idiots.

  7. Bolton is a lunatic. He one said that the US should invade Iran. Even though it would be impossible to occupy the country.

  8. Interesting view from somebody who said (careful, quotes ahead)

    – “I am not a professional politician.”

    – “I don’t much believe in bumper sticker characterizations of foreign policy.”

    – “I’m not running around the world looking for ways to create hostilities.”

  9. Bolton really likes war.

Probably only as long as his children do not have to participate on site.

  10. Bolton, the war hawk that got us into Afghanistan and Iraq, that Bolton now wants a war with Russia?

Let him take the first bullet

  11. The ole’ reverse ’em.

Bolton is so disreputable that he figures, if he advocates for it, it won’t happen.

    yep.

Which is exactly why he gets the IT / media monopoly publicity he does.
