Considering that it’s GLS, probably a couple of times until the package is beat up enough. Only then will they attempt a delivery. Or not.
Did you perhaps select a cubee locker for your parcel to be delivered? It happened to me once that my parcel was being sent back and forth a couple of times because there were no available lockers left.
They don’t know where the package is (LOST) so it gets an automatic scan there.
According to the standard operating guide-lines, approximately 56 times before discarding the parcel in front of your building without even ringing the doorbell or videofoon

As many times as GLS wants. Seriously I’ve had GLS on my tracker say the package arrived in Oostende when I live in Antwerp.
Unrelated but similar: few years ago I had the option to change tires location locally instead of a 40mins (Leuven) drive. It passed through Gent (2hours) and Brugge (2.5hours) before arriving in Hasselt
I had the same happen a couple of weeks ago. No delivery attempts. Then got a phone call from the sender that the package had been returned to them. Asked me to verify my address (it was correct). They sent it again and the second time it got delivered correctly right away.
GLS sucks. Avoid them like the plague.
Mine “only” 3 times. However they think I’m on holiday?
First rule about GLS: If you package does anything weird, contact them ASAP
Second rule about GLS: Ignore rule one and call them to say you’ll pickup your package at their warehouse before it even arrives in their warehouse.
It’s annoying to have to go to Nivelles/Tongeren everytime someone punishes you by picking GLS. But it is the only way to get your package on time and in an acceptable state.
This happened to me with tnt, someone set my package as delayed because apparently i was on vacation (i wasn’t) hqd to wait 2 weeks before they fixed it

It was kept at their depot for 5 days until they put it in the delivery route. I sent an email. They never replied but next day it was in the delivery van and got deliverd.
There was also a banner on the website apologising for delays caused by personel shortage.
Had the same thing going on with GLS Tongeren multiple times. Kinda annoying but In the end it did get delivered though.
It’s directly related to how urgently you need the package.
By the look of that screen: organ transplant?
They go wherever GLS takes them and then vanish into oblivion. I’ve lost two packages thanks to GLS. Hope you get yours! If not, maybe we can all start a support group to deal with the trauma that is GLS delivery.
Waiting for my second GLS delivery. First one covered a 1000km in a day from Germany and then got stuck in Purs for a week. The obese delivery guy arrived and started shouting my foreign name outside like an idiot. He gave me the parcel, no ID or nothing was needed and it was a brand new expensive phone.
Second parcel is still stuck in Purs for a week now having got there from Germany in a day.
GLS is the worst I’ve seen. All other delivery companies are a godsend compared to this joke.
