Now let’s whip up a business plan. I can put a shop at a regular services that can support hundreds of cars and thousands of people and convert 50 spaces for electric charging, or I can build standalone services that can support 30 charging points.

I used to one outside Norwich the other week to top up, nice experience.
Need them every 50 miles.
this is a good start. so many services have at most 2 charge points for non-tesla cars.
i dont understand why more companies dont push for more charge points. you have a customer stuck at the charge point for 30-45 minutes – open a cafe up sell some food and people will spend there.
Let me guess, the people complaining about this are the same people complaining they couldn’t have an electric car because there aren’t enough chargers.
Some people just hate change.
Didn’t people used to buy EVs because they wanted to be kind to the environment? Is building another service station kind to the environment? I don’t know.
God I can’t wait for electric cars to be the norm. I love my little jazz but if I can get a quieter, non air polluting car it’ll make driving and being around card so much nicer.
Now we just need for running electric cars to stay cheaper than running petrol. But these are very concerning times ahead.
