I hope not. The real thing is something extra special. Maybe if they combine the two it would be alright.

Hahahahha
I don’t think so! Joseph Muscat’s father, Saviour Muscat is the main importer of fireworks in Malta. So, most probably fireworks are here to stay.
Why not do away with the whole thing ? Put some class back into our lives instead of the ongoing celebration of vulgarity.
Forgot to mention localities where main roads are blocked for a whole week causing traffic through side roads and greatly endangering lives ..
and localities with two rival feasts in the same village to ensure maximum discord .. and off course each saint politically aligned. Come enjoy political figures walking around receiving homage and dispensing favors ..
But no bang bang noise? Enthusiasts no likey if no bang bang at all hours throughout the day and night.
It is both culturally important and religiously pertinent to frighten the shit out of man and beast at 8am on a Sunday.
Being a c**t to your fellow man is part and parcel of the local culture apparently.
Maltese fireworks are part of what we are.
It’s pet of our culture and our traditions.
This techy stuff is nothing compared to the skill involved in creating the spectacular shows offered all summer long
They don’t like this ones, they are not noisy
Tell me you don’t know what culture and history are, without telling me you don’t know what culture and history are.
Why not both?
As someone who has a drone or two, and is anti festa but not anti fireworks, if they did these instead of fireworks, I’m helping shoot them down
But where’s the fun of feeling like you’re in an active warzone for the whole day?!
Weird question but I see a lot of firework factories on Google earth in Malta. Has this been a traditional industry on the island?
