No it’s not a repost. The other post of a pub closing due to energy costs is in Dorset.
Where’s the Friday night quiz at, The Wonky Donky??
Pubs have been closing for years for a number of reasons. Some pubs will close and others will survive. It’s not like we need pubs to survive. There a luxury nothing more.
It’s only a sign of things to come. A lot of smaller pubs will be going out of business sooner rather than later.
I’d be stunned if any but the most successful pubs or biggest pub chains are able to survive really
My local is closing in a couple of weeks as well for the same reason (in Blaenau Gwent, Wales).
Shame really, nice pub that.
It’s going to be a very familiar story soon unfortunately.
Only pubs? I am surprised that factories can still run smoothly.
I seriously fear for our local.
Tim must be thinking he’s some sort of Dr strange of business right now
I’d imagine we’ll see a few Wetherspoons closing – they run tight margins and have really decent refrigeration. Neither will be helpful with soaring electricity bills kick in.
Yeah I have a feeling we’ll be seeing a lot of these posts for the next few years (if they all survive that long).
