  1. >Prosecutor Caroline Gardner said the US Air Force (USAF) had served the Crown Prosecution Service with a certificate under the 1952 Visiting Forces Act, which asserts jurisdiction.

    >It is understood that, if granted, Hayes could face a US military court.

…where she will almost certainly be found not guilty of all charges, or get a slap on the wrist if she is.

The dickheads are trying to pull another Sacoolas. Hope the CPS tells the USAF exactly where to shove their Visiting Forces Act.

  2. ‘Hayes was arrested, charged and remanded in custody following a hearing at Norfolk Magistrates’ Court last week.’

Remanding seems like a good idea after that cowardly bitch Sacoolas fucked off. Given that her passport is going to be retained by the USAF, I can’t see how bailing her was a wise decision from Judge Ikram, the US government and their armed forces have proven themselves without honour or morals and to be an utterly perfidious body of organisations. Not that ours are much better mind.

  3. >A woman charged with causing the death of a motorcyclist by careless driving is a serving member of the US Air Force, a court has heard.

Death of a motorcyclist by careless driving? I wonder how many years she’ll get in jail for that? 5 perhaps?

Oh, 100 hours of community service and £150. If that’s all it is, no wonder they can’t be bothered to fly her away in the middle of the night.
