Congratulations for the initiative! I suggest doing something like an effort to get more local people to use it. For example, an event for app users only. Or a discount somewhere. Or some kind of giveaway for users who are online at a certain time.
If this app were actually about Malta…
…but it isn’t.
Seems like a good idea. Hopefully it’ll do well.
I love the concept. You would need to work extremely hard to get people off of Facebook though. I wish the island didn’t rely so much on one service (FB/Insta/Whatsapp). I don’t know how people who are not on FB get by here.

Wicked mate, kudos for the great work, will tell my mates (work in IT to check it out too) , that also how things get rolling. As suggested previously, If you don’t want to advertise online, I suggest promoting giveaways, freebies always work, even discount codes combined with other businesses.
