Kaunas school sheds Alexander Pushkin name

  1. Good. Pushkin was a Russian nationalist.

In general, it shouldn’t be underestimated how historical Russian writers are in many ways responsible for Russia’s fucked up mentality.

That meme from a couple of years ago “Americans die for liberty, French die for love, British die for loyalty, and Russians die…” holds more truth than fiction. Russians don’t really know how pointless it is to better the situation around them because they grow up reading literature that glorifies their country without giving any reason for the glory.

  2. Well, it does say nazi right on the door so obviously they hate the peaceful freedom that the glorious legacy of Russian liberation represents.
