Co-op sells petrol stations to Asda in £600m deal

  1. How is this allowed when Asda owners also own Eurogarages? The petrol sector has become much much worse for price hiking since that happened

  2. Morning Joy. Asda already have petrol station shops near me (probably more but know of two!). And on it will continue….. You ok? Xx

  3. This is very odd. You can absolutely rinse the prices at a petrol station shop and the co-op is entirely setup for delivering to small stores such as a forecourt. The petrol supply and sale isn’t particularly complicated so combined it’s a massive earner.

Convenince retail is the only non-online grocery sector that’s growing.

  4. The coop fuel station near me is attached to a large coop store, I wonder if they both switch to asda.
