Getir Germany is increasing the base hourly pay for their riders during this cold weather. I think this is a nice gesture for the people working hours in this cold weather. Lieferando, Wolt etc. should follow but I think they won’t which is sad for big companies like them and currently bigger than Getir in Germany.
First time i’ve heared from this company. Ok, it’s kind of turkish Gorillas and just in Berlin available. So only a short notice for specialists.
I’m not going to congratulate an employer in an industry that flat out shouldn’t exist for barely paying minimum wage and presenting that as a gift.
It’s almost as ridiculous as German job ads listing “health insurance” as a benefit.
Yes. Riders have more accidents and get sick more in winter. So this is not really _gift_, more an insurance policy- which in my experience doesn’t work anyway.
