  1. These are grapes probably from overijse. It’s the right price coz they grow in greenhouses which requier a lot of heating during the colder days in winter and spring. Depending which variety it is, prices can be even higher, for example the leopold variety can even be 30 euro/kilo. The grapes are really delicious! You can’t compare it with the foreign variety.

  2. They’re fancy grapes from the Druivenstreek, a Belgian grape-and wine-producing area outside Brussels. It started in the 1850’s, and lasted until the 1960/70s when the oil crisis happened and people couldn’t heat their greenhouses any more. Fewer growers now. The annual festival takes place in the middle of September, lots of happenings, usually very popular. There is also a farm shop, Druiven Van Camp where they are having an open day soon so you can come and check out how they grow them.

  3. The “Vlaams-Brabantse tafeldruif” is pricy, rare and popular. This one doesn’t come from the region and shouldn’t be that pricy honestly. The Vlaams-Brabantse tafeldruif has a tradition that does not exist in Sint-Katelijne-Waver. The Vlaams-Brabantse tafeldruif is actually one of the few belgian protected denominations of origin.

  4. For grapes uit Overijse:cthe right proce. Hoever, the Brown stems indicatie they’ve been cut like a week ago, so nope.
