[OC] Energy inflation in Europe

  1. The Netherlands is Belgium plus gas. The fact that the Netherlands could have easily ended up like Belgium is why you will still find “Slochteren” in every school history book.

  2. I’m still pissed off about how I tried to get a contract with a fixed rate in July 2020 and Luminus somehow made me think I got one but it turned out to be a variable rate.

  3. Amazing timelapse, it’s about time Europe stands up and takes some serious decisions in favour of their citizens. If they cannot do this, there is no real existence for this ****** institution.

  4. Honestly there is a whole debacle out there because of years of mismanagement.

    Nuclear was bad.

People were pushed to heat pumps which while efficient doesn’t make sense when your electricity comes from gas.

So many solar panels and so little batteries.

  5. People go out of jobs because companies can’t pay their energy bills leaving these people with less money to pay even more for them bills. I’m already wearing my yellow jacket 🐝
