There is a registry however, amd communes can put an extra tax on “leegstand”.

Good if true. In a housing crisis, it’s downright criminal for people to hoard properties they don’t use.

ye fuck these companies aren’t ripping people off enough. Now they can also report you to the government if they aren’t milking you enough. Typical belgian solution of focusing small individuals rather than fixing structural problems.
