hi, what do we think about electric car conversion kits instead of scrapping cars and buying new ev’s. this could be a cheap way to switch to the electric driving experience. i wonder if it would still be roadlegal in belgium tho. thoughts?

Not even close to road legal in Belgium unfortunately. It’s like an engine swap, they’re illegal as well.
I have been looking into this aswell, but I’m wondering if it will be worth it.
Doing this in Belgium is illegal, so you would have to
a) export the car, do the conversion (or let a company do it) and import it again
b) buy a car, not in belgium, do the conversion and import it. I’m not too keen about buying something i can’t have a look at myself.
I fear it might be too complicated/expensive to be worth trying to do.
