Many people who have chargers at work can charge for free. I’m one of them.
This is the least of our problems..
What’s not to love about that!
It’s a workplace charger though, not a public one. Like wait until you find out how much cheaper you could be charging for at home.
They’ll be getting their heating bills on their pièds-a-terre in Dublin paid on expenses too.
No wonder they’re out of touch.
Yawn, I’m more bothered about former TDs and Senators getting free parking for life in Leinster House whenever they want to nip into central Dublin.
And so what? I charge for FREE at my workplace. It’s called a perk.
It’s not even free , such a non story.
And how much do you think they Pay&Display per hour at Leinster House?
Lazy
This is a non story .
Oh so bloody what. This stuff is beyond tiresome.
Non issue any employer I know has free charging. Typical indo trying to create outrage , please don’t encourage them
Give me a break. Who writes this shit?
And I charge for free at my place of work. What is this non-story?
How it this news? Lots of employers (including mine) allow employees to charge their EVs for free at work.
Clickbait bullshit. Let me fix it:
*”Politicians charge electric cars at Leinster House for the same price you would pay at home. Faster public chargers have a higher price but it’s the same price for everyone.”*
Of course they do. Ye voted for em now put up with em.
Yes and they should get it cheaper- it may encourage them to show up to work and actually do something! Lol
Does this scheme draw more or less power than the Giant printer no one can use?
Politicians getting privileges we could never dream of? Shock horror!
It’s things like this that give politicans an unrealistic perspective of what life is like or the rest of us, 😡
Weird comments in this thread. Absolute bewilderment that politicians get more perks. “non story”, “who cares?”….well if politicians got a 5k pay increase people would wanna know. What’s the difference here?
And this is different from mileage expenses because this will be used for non work purposes.
Of course they do. Snouts in the trough all of them. Utter scumbags.
Okay, but who cares, its practically workplace
if a company did the same thing for its ’employees’ nobody would gives a shit
“Fuck the Public” – Every Irish politician
If this convinces TDs that we need more charging points and the change over to electric is possible then why not?
