Hi! I’m a non-EU citizen and did my masters in EU so I was able to apply for job seeking visa to extend my Aufenhaltstitel. I went back to my country for vacation.
I wasn’t sure I was coming back so when my rental agreement expired I didn’t renew it. But I came back, so had to I stay with my friend while I finalize administrative stuff regarding the work I found (in another EU country) expecting it to not last more than 3 months.
However finalization of contract and in turn my visa application for that other EU country is taking too long. If I stay temporarily at my friend’s place for more than 3 months, is that okay? Or even up to 6 months (based on this website: https://www.bmi.bund.de/EN/topics/administrative-reform/registration/registration-node.html under exemptions to register)?
Also does the 6 months referred here starts when my rental agreement ended or when I came back in Germany? Thank you!
