To be honest, out of Boris, Sunak or Liz, I’d struggle to decide the “least worst” option and if I had to choose there’s no reason why I wouldn’t stick with what we’ve got.
What we need is a genuine alternative. And at this point I don’t really care which party it comes from.
He might refuse to rule out a comeback, but to be frank I think we all can on his behalf.

I would say that Boris Johnson’s political career should be dead and buried at a cross road with a stake through the heart so it does not come back as one of the undead. Still Boris does crave for power so it won’t be too long before it is out of grave as Liz Truss will not be so much a lame duck prime minister but something more sinister as it will be more like she may try her luck but then it will be more obvious that she just doesn’t give a fuck.

Does anyone know if there is a list of who voted Johnson out and who voted to keep him in during the vote of no confidence? I would have liked to have seen that from the start of the leadership election.
If he simply did his job to the best of his ability before he leaves No. 10, maybe (some) people (not me) would actually be willing to give him another chance later on.. but that would be asking too much

I think Boris would enjoy being leader of the opposition for a few years. Able to throw stones, say he could do a better job, whilst not actually having to do anything. It’s a perfect job for him.
