Just can’t wait for winter when they’ll all come out of the woodwork and say “well sure it’s freezing this winter so climate change can’t be real!”
Ah yes, the old “this isn’t bad until it’s negatively affecting me” bit, alive and well.
Imagine being so wrong, the Daily Mail is right….
Seems a few people were giving it to gigsy till the end of the season.
“Breathing is annoying. Imagine how much better we could swim of we gouge out our lungs. “
Pretty sure he has other pist talking about dealing with climate change. I think he’s just commenting on the fact that the papers love to make everything more sensational.
A sunny day is a weather report or forecast. Climate is the longterm general trend. So warmer summers colder winters more storms more coastal and river flooding more missery for some.
I also love how the utility bill is already reaching winter levels. In August. All hail the corporation mega profit records! o/
But…like… even if you’re a climate change denier…the article, fuck even the title isn’t about climate change. It’s a weather warning. If you don’t warn people, people die you fucking thick.
He’s right – that headline is scaremongering nonsense.
For years now, absolutely normal weather conditions have been treated by the media as hazardous or even life-threatening. This headline is a complete joke.
Talk about the boy who cried wolf. It’s getting to rhe stage where even a few warm days in Summer is being treated as proof of the impeding apocalypse.
Such bollocks.
Why is every comment pointing out that he’s not talking about climate change, but rather the overhyping of yellow alerts by tabloids and online media downvoted to hell?
Giggsy in the mud
Yea, it’s great, one day it was half way to boiling temp in the car… 50 degrees… That’s sounds like a pretty healthy environment – can’t wait for our future generations to make it to full boiling point

I get irrationally angry that idiots like this hold positions of power.
In fairness, the media do tend to go a little bit overboard when there’s any variation in weather at all.
