Really?

  1. Easy to do, have all routes to speedtest.net fully open for max speed, maybe even pay Ookla that runs the tests, have technicians standing next to 5G antennae spam speedtest.net with a wiped clean new 5G phone and VOILA!

Even EPIC did it last year. I stopped using speedtest.net for this reason, all ISPs have full speed to their servers and all the rest internet is meh.

  2. Yes when you ping a server just outside your house of course you get a good response but what really matters is outside of cyprus. I am not hating on cyta. Cyta probably the best telecommunications company but these are insanly rigged and can be easily manipulated.

  3. So fast you can now ran out of data in seconds! I still don’t understand why they are still so far behind when it comes to data allowance compared to the rest of Europe (Greece excluded as it seems to be even worse)

  4. Yeah, i remember when cablenet was down for 3 days and [speedtest.net](https://speedtest.net) was the only thing working…

A tip about industry awards, specially about “internet speeds”, These things are rigged, you show up, show interest, they give a price to compete, tell you how to win it, and you do. Its a business, its one of the ways OOKla makes money.

MTN was the “fastest network” 2 years in a row….
