Oil drilling eh? First you have to know where to drill so you need seismic surveys done. Then if you identify a promising area you need sink some test wells. If it’s viable then the rigs have to go in. The whole process takes a long time.
Since we are facing a crisis, caused in at least some part, by climate change now, if we are investing in things for 20 years time can we not give the money to the same organisations and resources that got us into this mess and instead invest in insulation and clean energy?
