Hi I am having trouble trying to udnerstand COVID entry rules to Germany in September, I have a flight on the 5th, and I was reading this CNN article:

https://www.cnn.com/travel/article/germany-travel-covid-19/index.html

from September onwards I will have to show a PCR test 48 hours before or proof of vaccination, with a EU digital certificate.

but this website here, shows no such info or am I reading wrong?
https://www.bundesgesundheitsministerium.de/en/service/gesetze-und-verordnungen/guv-19-lp/coronavirus-einreiseverordnung.html

but again this website says I must show proof of vaccination throug hthe EU certificate?
https://www.bmi.bund.de/SharedDocs/faqs/EN/topics/civil-protection/coronavirus/travel-restrictions-border-control/IV-restrictions-applying-to-air-and-sea-travel-outside-of-europe/what-rules-apply-for-fully-vaccinated-people.html

Sherpa and IATA websites dont show any proof of vaccination required either?

I am from Canada, and cannot find a way to apply for the EU certificate also? Am I okay showing my country’s proof of vaccination? Kinda panicking right now as I thought (apparently incorrectly) that the covid entry requirements were lifted.
