She’s unlikely to get PIP because for cancer patients you need your oncologist to complete a form saying you potentially have less than 6 months to live which I think is unlikely with stage 3.
It’s also not that unusual for people with cancer to carry on working.
I’ve got stage 4 cancer, diagnosed 2 years ago, had countless treatments, I just got PIP the other month and still work, although my job is less energetic than what a nurse does. Of course every cancer patient is different but on the face of it a stage 3 patient still working isn’t shocking or newsworthy.
