Not sure when this happened, just saw it whilst scrolling on LinkedIn and I’m sure nobody really cares but I thought it was somewhat interesting. It’s about time to be honest, National University of Ireland Galway was a bit of a mouthful and made it sound like a bit of a 2nd tier university in my opinion
Only happened a day or 2 ago I think. Probably the start of September. They did announce it back in February or March I think.
Ug
And I had just stopped calling it UCG.
That lady looks *very* Galway
NUI Maynooth rebranded to Maynooth University a few years back. The whole NUI is definitely a mouthful
* They’ve changed it officially to Ollscoil na Gaillimhe
WTF is it with all the third level colleges and unis changing their names at the moment? They’re all at it!
probably being cynical but this makes it easier to market oversees for those fee paying students
The haircut!!!!
Looks like she cut her own hair.
A registered charity, that seems like a nice little earnings/tax loophole !
