100% agree. We need to invest better in ourselves.
Pension funds should invest in market cap weighted index funds. Anything else is irresponsible considering the responsibility to achieve maximum risk adjusted returns for pension holders.
Fine by me but it better be my choice. No interest in investing in the irish stonk market.
