It’s abandoned but not forgotten…The County Council bought the estate and there are a lot of plans in progress for it.
That drone shot makes it look like a very inhospitable place from that angle but it’s actually a really family-friendly spot with a proper carpark and walking/cycle paths through the woods. It’s right by a lake too.
I guess the point I’m badly making is it’s not some total abandoned thing that no one knows about and people should definitely visit!
