Guess I got really lucky and woke up randomly at 3am. I should have gotten dressed and cycle to a nearly open field. Anyway, this is my first time seeing northern lights after moving here for almost 10months. Thank goodness for the amazing weather. Have a good weekend, everyone.

You can use pages like [this](https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/) or Google “space weather forecast” if you want to plan when to have a chance to see northern lights. Right now the sun is having a period of more activity so there is a chance to see northern lights in much of Norway. We even had some down here in Bergen last night, difficult to see though as there is a lot of light pollution near the city.

Ahhh yes. The rare yellow 3am house. You got lucky there!
If you had just moved slightly you could have made it look like the northern lights came out of the chimney🙈 other than that it’s beautiful!
