Minister Lintilä: Companies should ensure tax deduction goes to households

  1. Companies are under no obligation to do so. Come up with a better plan Lintilä. Lowering the VAT was not the only possible form of support on the table or suggested.

  2. Its governments job to take care of people and help defend them against companies. Companies are there to make profit.

  3. When KiKy (effectively a pay-cut for most salatied workers) was forced down peoples throats during previous government the prime minister asked for CEO:s of companies to join the effort. They didn’t.

  4. If ST1 and Neste can triple their profits, it would be wrong to not let the electrical companies get their pound of flesh and pint of blood from us as well. /s This winter is going to fucking suck.

  5. Right wing economical policies are the best. Lets take everything from the people and give it to those who already have everything. This will motivate people to work harder and it will show that hard work pays. Awesome! And corporations and companies can pinky swear that they’ll be good and not greedy. LOL

  6. Has this ever, anywhere in the world, worked like Lintilä hopes.

Companies will just bank the difference and it will have no effect on price. Being blue eyed with companies is one of the stupidest thing you can do and you get burned every time if there is a chance to make a profit vs. doing the right thing.

  7. The amount of economic ignorance in the comment section is heartbreaking. For some reason people blame companies and politicians for corruption, but also “demand” the government to “take over” the business of producing and destributing electricity. Why the politicians you call “corrupt” will stop being “corrupt” after running themselves the electricity companies? The world has seen the peak of corruption in the counties where the government “takes care” of everything.

You want cheap electricity, but 1/2 of the country has been against nuclear power plants and nobody wanted any wind turbines where they live either and kept protesting them. The amount of shaming politicians got for supporting nuclear energy can be seen in the so called monument of “shame” in Töölö where the names of all who voted for nuclear power were written so that they could be “shamed” in the eternity for supporting nuclear energy. Apparently those angry protesting nuclear energy didn’t have any alternative, but anyway it is always fun to be childish.

  8. Lintilä really either is a cunt or does not understand anything.

He has been behind fortum shitshow and terrafame to name just a few shit shows. Proper idiot yes-man for the corporations .

    Who votes for this man?
