I think it’s about low birth rates, as it displays the avarage sizes of families today, in the 80s and 50s
Family size decreases aka birth rates reducing
And they are asking why [which can be discussed in more detail: rising costs, house prices etc]
These are lies, load of bullshit, pissing of people.
What’s weird for me is that despite Poland apparently having a low birthrate, everyone I know in Poland either has kids or plans to have them, and the neighbourhoods in Warsaw seem chockful of kids.
Translation: Where are THESE kids?
Today: (a baby, parents and two kids)
80 (1980): (a baby, parents and three kids)
50 (1950): (a baby, parents and five kids)
It’s anti-abortion propaganda
Basically saying that abortion is the reason why there’s less kids being born on avarage.
Polish government being pricks that’s all
Non gov foundation that is proclaiming to be there to promote family and birt rate, that is closely related to PiS politicians, needs to laundry money by putting up these billboards, that to literaly nothing to practically help Polish families to have more kids. Instead of actually meaningfully spend those money on actually helping people and families to afford having kids.
In short: loads of bullshit, unapologetic irony and hypocrisy.
Don’t worry, I DO live in PL, yet I don’t know either.
I am guessing low birth rate, but… I don’t know what is the source and the idea carried here.
Great basic pic for meme-base though…
At first, I did not see the demographic graphics on the side. I thought it was an amber alert.
Two children have been lost and there is a great search campaign in Poland.
We should care about replacement rate, which is 2.3-2.1 kids per a woman.
This billboard is sort of misleading, because the 50s had a fertility boom tied to World War 2 being over. Look at the graphs, fertility rate has been declining steadily since the 60s, and has leveled in early 2000s.
Something about dropping birth rate numbers if I’m not wrong.
People can’t afford kids anymore nowadays.
Przypomniała mi się reklama łódzkiegk zoo z napisem “tu są te dzieci”
That’s funded by ultra catholic millionaire on a mission. Btw, the numbers are misleading a lot. Last time we had on average 5 children per family was in preindustrial times and there was roughly 3,5 in 50′, not 80’… Funny thing is that campaign actually backfired a lot, because a lot of people thought it’s critical to pro-catholic PiS inability to increase fertility rate by its 500+ welfare program.
Tell me, what are those billboards for? Exactly. No one knows. So you don’t have to be afraid that someone is going to ask. Do you know what those billboards do? They serve the vital needs of the whole society. Those are the billboards representing our capabilities. Do you know what we do with those billboards? We’re opening skeptics’ eyes. “Look”, we’re saying, “It’s ours, made by us, and it’s not even our final word”. And no one has the right to question. Those are social billboards, based on six institutions, that are going to rot, outside, until autumn. And what will we do? Affidavit of destruction. Real money is only made by expensive, conservative investments.
Where are the kids mason
The posters says “where are THESE children”. So, when the ruling party in Poland (pis) started, they had a program to increase birth rate by paying families every month for each child below 18 ( started by second child). Nowdays they are paying families for each child (500 ZŁ ~100$). Now, the program is running for a couple of years and the election day is coming. This poster is basically saing that the birth rate didn’t increased. So for polish people it is saying that the plan didn’t work ( there are no more of THESE children that benfit by that ruling party plan) and additional income for each child does not encourage people to have more children. So it is not purely informative ( it is implaying something but it is not saying it directly, you have to know the context).
500+ didnt work
Cóż, podejrzewam że TE dzieci już są dorosłe :))
I am Russian and I only can guess that this writing means: “Where are YOUR kids?”
In the context of low birthrates and this just means “Hey, where are you gonna have kids?”
Also, with some additional pictures on the same poster, they are even listing what is the best number of kid you should have.

But Polish people can correct me if I’m wrong.
Nobody knows bro, but everybody thinks there stupid
Main goal of this efforts: create environment where having a baby is a luxury and symbol of status.
Huge success of [anti-natalist](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antinatalism) factions inside SLD, AWS,UW/PO and PiS. Great example of co-operation and rising above party-lines to fight for better future!
It’s like a ,,have more children” ad, by showing that average Polish family has less children than it used to.
They could start massive investments in housing and child care. Then eventually children will come.
They’re about demographic disaster we’re heading towards
I leave in Poland and I can’t really understand them smh. They are supposed to pro-christian add but I as a Christian find them very ignorant. Technically most of us know where are THE children: Germany, UK, US, Ireland and any other place where Poles look for a good life where we are not constantly feed with “PO-PIS” bullshit and where we can make more than 5 euro per hour
us poles don’t know it either
Mmm fundacja kornice
I’m pretty sure that someone kidnapped these children and this is a campaign helping to find them.
THESE kids on the poster are missing. Somebody asking where they are, I’ve been following the drama for some time and I really hope they find them. It’s been so stressful and no developments have occurred in so long I’m starting to lose hope. The stuff at the bottom is about how Putin successively stole more and more kids from the family until they we’re left with just the two. And now THESE last two are missing. Where are THESE children?

This is just information about successful [pro-family politics](https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polityka_prorodzinna) of polish governments over last 30 years.
