Could anyone identify where my family is from in Poland through their clothing? I asked a Polish friend who knows the different clothing patterns, and she told me they’re from the Lublin region. However, my grandmother always said she was Slovak or Czech, as their family either was from Prague or just lived in Prague. However, using the ancestry DNA site 23andMe, it pointed out that the South-Eastern portion of Poland was the highest probable area for my ancestry.
*smiles in polish*
Sorry, i cannot help you :<
Don’t know, they got some drip tho fr fr
Doesn’t look like any polish traditional clothing I’ve ever seen so it might be from Czechia or Slovakia
Look like they lived somewhere in mountains, but not sure.
Well try to ask on r/Russia XD
For me, it was “Górale” at first look, but tbh it’s hard to say (clothing is similar in most cases in Slavic countries).
From there mom
Dunno mate. Maybe try slovakia
Gypsies?
These costumes looks more of Austrian or other German minority
