I love the picture used for this, of the placard reading:
“HEAT KILLS divest from fossil fuels Just Stop Oil”
Looking at that placard, I’m imagining now that during the peak of the summer heatwave when temperatures reached a peak of 40’C, that these bell ends were thinking of a solution to the problem and they settled on, “Just Stop Heatwaves”.
It’s a brilliant solution to the problem of stiflingly hot summer heat. Just Stop Heatwaves. It’s perfect. Thank you, JSO members, you’ve solved summer heatwaves for us, just like you solved oil usage(!)
