This is actually printed on the canteen in my work because I work with a fella who is the image of him. Pretty accurate apart from the t shirt. We do love spuds tho.

Yes, I agree, this is not the average Irish émigré. This is a picture of typical country lads who *don’t* leave the country for better pastures.
As long as the “Us” in the campaign slogan refers to emigrants then I honestly think it’s accurate enough.

Well the good news is apparently some museum about us has beat out the Louvre and the tower of Pisa and the rest. Wonder what the small print on “leading tourist attraction” is
If the shirt said ‘Spuds are Class’, I would have trouble denying the accuracy here.
