Ahh, I feel this! I’m Icelandic, living in Norway and occasionally (usually around Christmas) get shipments from relatives with Icelandic candy and food. There’s really nothing like the stuff you grew up with

I’m in the opposite situation, I moved from the U.K. to Norway and although I do love most of the tasty treats you posted, I’m genuinely depressed with the absolute lack of variety I’m used to back in the U.K.! Consider yourself lucky in that way, at least 🙂

It’s so crazy how snacks can bring back such memories. I remember the first time I moved to another country my mom would send me those green apple licorice which I loved. Those we’re some of the best snacks I ever had. Hope they hit the spot!
