I feel so lucky. I moved from Norway to the UK last year and I’ve been missing the Norwegian food. My sister sent me a big care package filled with Norwegian and Swedish stuff. And I got Julebrus for Christmas to! ❤️🙏🏻

  1. Ahh, I feel this! I’m Icelandic, living in Norway and occasionally (usually around Christmas) get shipments from relatives with Icelandic candy and food. There’s really nothing like the stuff you grew up with

  2. The best selling car in Scandinavia is Ahlgrens Bilar! That’s quite the care package – just need some Turkish Pepper and M Peanotter

  3. I’m in the opposite situation, I moved from the U.K. to Norway and although I do love most of the tasty treats you posted, I’m genuinely depressed with the absolute lack of variety I’m used to back in the U.K.! Consider yourself lucky in that way, at least 🙂

  4. Probably already know this, but they’ve got Jarlsberg at Tesco, at least they did in Scotland.

  5. It’s so crazy how snacks can bring back such memories. I remember the first time I moved to another country my mom would send me those green apple licorice which I loved. Those we’re some of the best snacks I ever had. Hope they hit the spot!

  6. Thats really great! Btw you are a brave soul for posting anything about any julebrus on a norwegian sub 😉
