Sveiki! I’m thinking of moving from the UK to Lithuania (I have an EU passport) with my partner. For us it makes a lot of sense financially and we will be close to her family.

I’ve come across some good info here https://www.renkuosilietuva.lt/en/employee-or-self-employed/ about obtaining relevant documents as an employee. I’m wondering if this is still relevant if I work remotely for a non-Lithuanian company? Has anyone had any experience with moving from a foreign country while keeping their previous job?

Ačiū!

  1. If you work remotely to non Lithuanian company you are basically self employed. So you should be lookint at link you pasted for details.

However you also mention that you have a partner which I assume is Lithuanian. So you can use this route to get permit.
